I was skeptical about dropping this much on a heat exchanger, but after a few hard pulls on a hot day my IATs stayed way lower than with the stock 1.0" core. The 1,500 HP rating gives me peace of mind for future mods too.

After a few hard pulls at the track, I can confirm the thicker 1.5-inch core actually kept the air charge cool when the stock unit would have already been heat-soaked. Install was straightforward with the included brackets, and the engine feels noticeably more consistent on back-to-back runs.

The 1.5-inch core dropped my IATs by almost 20 degrees during back-to-back pulls, and the welds look factory-clean. Installation was straightforward with the included brackets, though I’d budget a few extra minutes for the hose clamps.
